Orbituary
In loving memory of my sister Smt. Divya ARORA JI.
MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE FOREVER IN OUR LORD’S ABODE!
HARI AUM!

You wanted to fly
when they told you,you couldn’t walk

You wanted to sing
When they told you,you had speech impairment

You wanted to dance
When they said you’ll be in a wheelchair forever

And Dance you did..
you moved on stage with the grace of an angel..

You produced, wrote, and directed plays that would have pushed any “able” theatre maker to their limits

You were not “specially abled”
You were just.. special

When no one gave you a chance, You did.
To shift to a city like Mumbai, live by yourself with minimal help. Your mother being your Rock.
Saw you many times on your wheelchair, going from 4 bungalows Mahada to Kokilaben to get your regular checkups. You never let anybody treat you down.

You inspired friends and audiences alike. May it be Priyanka Chopra, who was mesmerized by your performance. We were so happy to see a reflection of you in her performance in Barfi, or Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who spoke to you extensively during the making of Guzarish.

Today, you and Tom Saab reunite. You will laugh, make merry, tell stories, recite poems, and put up a show in heaven.

I look up to you with great fondness and gratitude for being who you are.

It was an honor being your Prince.

Sleep well, Dear Princess

As we sing our last duet..The Melody of Love.
